SPARK is looking for a Social Media Content Creative that is savvy with social trends and swift to respond to them. This creative individual understands the importance of timing without sacrificing design.

The Basics

3+ years of experience as graphic designer or art director
Degree in design, advertising or related field
Portfolio required
In-house agency experience preferred.

Required Skills

  • Have a proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software 
  • Have an excellent sense of pace and timing, a knowledge of the best ways to engage viewers, and how to tell a powerful story in a short amount of time
  • Understand design applications in traditional and emerging channels
  • Contribute in developing initial creative strategies to address core marketing and business objectives
  • Actively participate in the ideation process leveraging research, analytics, and brand insights
  • State opinions clearly and can verbally describe visual concepts
  • Produce work that adheres to brand standards, but also explores out-of-the-box approaches to grow brands’ visual identities
  • Take direction from creative directors
  • Understand that all projects require attention to detail so that work is on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy
  • Direct photo and video shoots, including prop selection and art direction on set
  • Design decks and presentations for client meetings, proposals, and pitches
  • Create and produce content/campaigns for social media
  • Demonstrate creative conceptualization skills

Research & Social Listening

  • Have a deep understanding of social channels and design principles for all social platforms
  • Recommend, research, and develop imagery (e.g., photography, illustration) to support creative strategy and execution
  • Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions
  • Monitor social conversations and trends to join in on conversations that align with the brand

Collaborate & Create...Quickly

  • Execute the concept and design of marketing assets as prescribed by creative/marketing briefs
  • Make creative, fun, and social-driven videos and graphics that people will engage people to connect with brands
  • Partner with creative and social media teams and agency partners on the development of social aspects of integrated campaigns
  • Be accountable for the final development and production of creative assets and ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and overall product meets or exceeds the design and social objectives
  • Collaborate with community manager(s) to artfully build creative solutions to address specific project objectives

Design & Refine

  • Improve the integrated team’s overall performance and embrace a collaborative approach
  • Manage, including updating and maintaining, existing library of images and social film
  • Create assets for testing and optimizing based on performance data, often times mid campaign
