Sure it has world-class golf that appeals to golfing fans, but we had to position this tournament as something everyone could get into. We took a positioning that put the fun aspect of the tournament on par with the level of golf spectators got to see to make the Transitions Championship the ‘must attend’ sporting event of the season.

But most of all, it drives traffic to destinations without customers having to deal with actual traffic. That’s more views, generating more sale opportunities.

Grocery shoppers in Florida needed a reality price check on their groceries. So we gave them one. We set up tent across the street from the grocery giant Publix to prove once and for all Sweetbay’s groceries were the same or higher quality and cheaper.

But we didn’t stop there. The idea needed the support of social media and a creative way for shoppers to interact with the Sweetbay brand online. So, we launched a comprehensive online campaign supported through online media buys and a fully monitored and managed social program. With buzz spiking and their Share of Voice on the rise, we are confident this campaign will provide short-term and lasting value.

We renewed, refreshed and reinvented a 42 year-old hospital’s role in the online space. After a study, we learned that a woman’s hospital experience during childbirth helps define a family’s hospital preference for the rest of their life.

After that we had our work cut out for us. First, focus Bayfront’s strategy around new mother’s and women’s care. Second, help foster and start conversations with our target audience and Bayfront Baby Place through Facebook. Third, use hyper-targeted non-traditional media that leads potential customers to a personal web experience where they can meet the Bayfront Women’s Care staff and feel even more comfortable about their healthcare choices.

The recession put Florida tourism in a bind. Ad budgets were down and the state needed an out of the box solution. Let’s get Florida residents to advertise for us. So, Spark created the Share a Little Sunshine campaign. It is an online effort to get Floridians to invite friends and family down to the sunshine state.

Spark provided everything from website design to the social initiative to the television spots. We let everybody know that more tourism means more jobs. More jobs means more revenue for Florida residents and the state. Then we encouraged residents to share Florida and gave them the social tools to make it happen.

When the time came to launch the new Baby Place facility we utilized emotional photography with a simple, inviting message of "Hello." And when employees started showing up to work in new teal-colored cars and emphatically saying "Hello" in the hallways, we knew the campaigns had gained some traction.

With a unique dog-centric “newspaper”, a bizarre mascot character called Mandog, and a series of webisodes strategically piggy-backed onto the most popular videos on the web, we generated tens of thousands of dollars in PR and over 15.000 views on YouTube.
