Agency Producer

Spark is looking for an Agency Producer to work as a key member of our Project Management team. The Agency Producer is the master of controls- managing all moving pieces from behind the scenes to ensure flawless production execution. This person will manage the Studio intake process, and workflow, and ensure estimates are accurate and competitive, manage studio freelancers, and ensure proper staffing for various productions.

The Basics

5+ years of production and agency experience.
Creative problem solver and an expert at building relationships.
Experience in estimating and creative development of Shoots, Video and Photo Post-Production.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for the Studio
  • Manage and prioritize intake of Estimate Requests for the Content Studio team
  • Work closely with Brand Managers and Project Managers to determine specifications and manage expectations
  • Leads project set-up in Workamajig to ensure consistency of set-up, structure, nomenclature, project documentation including approved estimates/contracts and reporting requirements
  • Work closely with Studio teams, internal creative teams and vendors to generate estimates for pre-production, production & Shoots, and post production of Video and Photography assets
  • Teach out production processes to ensure solid understanding of scope and costs
  • Contribute to process optimization and finding efficiencies
  • Work closely with Project Managers to prioritize requests
  • Take the lead on client calls regarding estimates, job specifications and production
  • Assist with pre-production purchases for photo shoots or video production
  • Generate Purchase Orders and approve Invoices.
  • Manage production timeline and budgets, communicating any shifts in plans or expenses during shoots
  • Ensure proper follow up with locations, vendors and crew to gather final documentation and deliverables
  • Ongoing monitoring of resource and project allocations for studios team to ensure a balanced schedule and prioritization
  • Participate in new business initiatives as requested.
  • Work with Studio Leads in researching and benchmarking rates to remain competitive
  • Work with Studio Leads and Operations in resource planning and allocation
  • Perform project reviews to identify both problem areas as well as successes
  • Support Directors in RFPs and high-level initiatives
  • Produce tv/video shoot production on location as needed

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production and agency experience
  • Creative problem solver and an expert at building relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field
  • Experience in estimating and creative development of Shoots, Video and Photo Post-Production
  • Experience working with Photographers, Art Buyers, Retouchers, Editors, Talent and 3rd Party Vendors
  • Experience with presenting to clients, or in a client facing role
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles and/or Project Management experience
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage time, multitask and work well under pressure
  • Ability to lead and drive alignment across teams and seniority levels
  • Enthusiastic, solution-oriented attitude in accepting work/new challenges
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
