Animator/Editor

SPARK is seeking an Animator/Editor who is eager to learn, lead, and collaborate with our creative teams. You are a storyteller who is passionate about working together to create visual narratives that move people. You are a multi-tasker who can deliver motion graphics, film/video, animation, and design across a variety of platforms. Someone who is just as excited about working with the creative team to develop concepts and style boards as you are about getting behind the screen with them to create visually-driven content and experiences. The Basics

Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects, Lumetri Color)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity

Concepting/Pre-Production

  • Works collaboratively with creative team to develop concepts for tv spots and video content
  • Proactively contributes conceptual and executional ideas to improve quality of end product
  • Actively shares new editing/animation techniques, style inspiration and reference visuals to inspire creative team leads
  • Collaborates early and often with creative teams

Post-Production

  • Offers multiple edit options
  • Effectively manages time and tasks with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Embraces a collaborative edit process
  • Proactively communicates ideas and opportunities for visual storytelling throughout the post-production process
  • Demonstrates attention to detail with project labeling and file management

Experience

  • Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects, Lumetri Color)
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
  • Familiarity with after effects title and vector animation (3D not required, though valued)
  • Color correction in Lumetri and Davinci
  • Able to work both on and off-site
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
