Social Media Coordinator

SPARK is looking for a Social Media Coordinator addicted to social media and has a knack for social sleuthing.  We need a dynamic social media coordinator to support and execute social media strategies that meet and exceed client expectations. From community moderation to social data analysis, the social media coordinator will play a pivotal role at SPARK.

The Basics

Bachelor’s degree
1-2 years experience

Required Skills

  • Familiar with key social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Snapchat
  • Ability to manage and analyze large data sets in Excel (if you can pivot chart the spreadsheet—even better)
  • Ability to write, edit, and proofread posting guides and social ads
  • Familiar with social media tools including but not limited to social listening (Listen First, etc.), engagement (HootSuite, etc.), social analytics (Sysmos, Brandwatch, etc.) and data asset management systems (Adobe Livefyre, etc.)
  • Experience with 3rd party analytics and syndication research platforms (Google Analytics, TapInfluence, etc.) preferred
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

Social Listening & Engagement

  • Monitor and manage client brands across all major social networks and actively listen to social sentiment and conversations
  • Identify and connect with communities of interests, influencers, and advocates across social platforms to grow social media channels
  • Respond to social inquiries swiftly to keep audiences informed, entertained, and engaged
  • Manage high levels of inbound conversations, constantly identifying workflow best practices and efficiencies that scale

Reporting & Optimizations

  • Evaluate and track performance of proactive and reactive engagement to develop and share actionable insights that evolve engagement strategies
  • Categorize and analyze both qualitative and quantitative social data

Collaboration & Execution

  • Support and research social media trends that will assist in planning social media strategies
  • Share community point of views with internal teams to assist in maintaining brand standards, sentiment, and campaign initiatives
