Senior Designer

SPARK is searching for a Senior Designer to help lead our creative team. Senior Designers own key pieces of building brands and brand systems while contributing to campaigns when needed. They help us create national-level work as they refine executions and expand creative vision through exploration and technical expertise.

The Basics

3-6 years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency
Award-winning portfolio with Regional and National clients in a variety of media
Expert in file and presentation prep

Strategy

Create design solutions that are more strongly connected to strategy.

Integrated Approach

Seamlessly extend ideas to a variety of different media formats and brand applications.
Think beyond design. Demonstrate understanding of how verbal elements compliment creative solutions.

Concept

Develop creative solutions that are insight-driven, conceptually strong and visually inspiring.

Execution

With attention to detail and oversight, ensure all files and deliverables are on time, on brand and in spec.

Presentation

Not only share ideas internally, but inspire others.
Own key segments in client presentations and pitches.

Experience

3-6 years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency
Award-winning portfolio with Regional and National clients in a variety of media including TV, OOH, digital, and brand experiences
Expert knowledge of design principles for type, shape, color and photography
Expert in file and presentation prep
Mastery of text editor programs ( Word, Pages, Keynote )
Adobe Creative Cloud ( AI, ID, PS )
Illustration, Photo Retouching, Motion graphics, Front End Development and/or 3D experience a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or similar
