Marketing Manager

SPARK is searching for a Marketing Manager to lead up SPARK’s marketing efforts, assist in new business, and manage our website. Our Marketing Manager is hungry to get the SPARK name out in the public. They are a skilled writer and passionate about storytelling. The Marketing Manager has a strong understanding of PR- perhaps with a background or training in PR. They proactively seek to elevate agency case studies and marketing content. Relationships are their strong-suit, both internally and externally. They have a desire to grow SPARK through well-crafted RFP responses and collaborate on new business strategies and opportunities.

This role is about 90% remote. We need someone in the Tampa Bay or surrounding areas for occasional onsite strategy sessions; however, the day-to-day can be work from home.

The Basics

2-5 years of marketing experience (PR preferred)
Experience with RFP’s and the agency pitch process
Understands the art of storytelling

Marketing

  • Collaborate with Creative team to create SPARK content, video, social media, collateral and case studies
  • Assist in creation to 90 day marketing plans
  • Develop and manage vertical marketing programs and/or campaigns
  • Maintain and optimize existing sales & marketing plan in collaboration with agency leadership
  • Project manage relevant SPARK marketing efforts & provide weekly status updates to team
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance analytics on a monthly basis
  • Find opportunities to elevate SPARK website and content

Content Writing

  • Gather information and write case studies for SPARK success stories
  • Develop website copy to ensure up-to-date storytelling
  • Review and maintain all marketing collateral, case studies, and sales materials
  • Source, develop, and write new blog content

RFP Responses

  • Manage and help vet incoming sales inquiries
  • Identify and research potential new business opportunities
  • Lead the creation of proposals for new business inquiries while collaborating with teams when needed
  • Manage the RFP process for various potential clients
  • Maintain communication with prospective clients throughout the RFP process
  • Ensure specific RFP requirements are satisfied
  • Track the progress of new business opportunities
  • Track outreach & sales activity pipeline using CRM tool
  • Manage transition of prospects to client on-boarding with agency teams
  • Contribute to new business reporting

Experience & Qualities:

  • 2-5 years of marketing experience (PR preferred)
