Production Artist

SPARK is looking for a Production Artist with a down-to-the-pixel eye for detail. Someone who can support the creative process and ad campaigns by translating creative concepts into final files to go live. By keeping work on brand, on time, error-free and in spec, our Production Artists play a big role in executing creative. We are looking for someone who has a strong working knowledge of current design software, HTML banner development, graphic design, photo retouching, mechanical print production, and digital media formats. This future Sparkler can communicate effectively with the greater team, collaborating with various team members throughout the process. The ideal candidate is someone who can easily be heads down to focus and get the boxes checked off their list, all while staying organized and being efficient.

The Basics

3-5 years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency
Expertise in HTML banner ad development
Proven track record of attention to detail while working on multiple projects with varying deadlines

Execution

  • Ability to execute creative production work in multiple media types including but not limited to digital banners, rich media banners, paid social media, outdoor and print, including finalizing per spec sheets to go live
  • Ability to create files within Adobe Creative Suite, as well as the ability to create and edit all file types including but not limited to HTML, PDF, EPS, JPG, GIF, PNG
  • Adjust creative layouts to varying aspect ratios and dimensions for regional-specific placements
  • Experience working within brand, print and web standards
  • Quality control and attention to detail, ensuring all files are triple checked against the specifications and guidelines before submitting for routing and/or release
  • Must be fast & efficient, while managing multiple deadlines for numerous projects at any given time
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure creative is reviewed and approved
  • Exceptional organizational skills including but not limited to consistent naming conventions, saving & organizing files & folders on the server, versioning control, etc

Refine/Evolution

  • Translate and comp current creative direction to other media/formats
  • Focus on efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency
  • A positive, can-do attitude with high level dedication and collaborative spirit
  • Expertise in HTML banner ad development
  • Expert file prep across any media
  • Exceptional coordination, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven track record of attention to detail while working on multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Understanding of design principles for type, shape, color and photography
  • Adobe Creative Cloud ( ID, PS, AI, AN ), as well as HTML development
  • Sketch, Motion graphics, video editing and or 3D experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or similar
