Senior Copywriter

SPARK is on the hunt for a storyteller extraordinaire, better known as a Senior Copywriter. Our Senior Copywriters can communicate big ideas with simplicity for brands, brand systems, and ad campaigns. They lead writing throughout the creative process with strategy, attention to detail, and craft. And, they do it in a way that translates the idea across various media.

The Basics

3-6 years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Integrated Approach

  • Seamlessly extend ideas to a variety of different media formats and brand applications.
  • Think beyond copy. Demonstrate understanding of how visual elements compliment creative solutions.

Concept

  • Develop creative solutions that are insight-driven, conceptually strong and well-written.

Refine/Evolution

  • Create refined communication and storytelling that expand creative vision across various media.

Execution

  • With attention to detail and oversight, ensure all files and deliverables are proofed, on time and on brand.

Presentation

  • Not only share ideas internally, but inspire others.
  • Own key segments in client presentations and pitches.

Experience

  • 3-6 years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand, or advertising agency
  • Award-winning portfolio with Regional and National clients in a variety of media including TV, OOH, and digital and brand
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Expert knowledge of copywriting principles in storytelling, communication, tone/voice
  • Expert presentation prep
  • Expert of text editor programs (Word, Pages, Keynote)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (ID, PS) experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or similar
