Social Copywriter

SPARK is looking for a Social Copywriter with a passion for everything social media related. You are a conceptual creative who is comfortable developing original ideas and writing copy across a range of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter). When it comes to crafting social media experiences, your words engage, inspire, and achieve multiple business goals.

The Basics

3+ years of copywriting experience at an agency or in-house agency
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field

Concept

  • Write social copy from concept to end product.
  • Work closely with Social Media Managers and other creatives to brainstorm creative concepts and award-winning social activations.
  • Stay up-to-date on all social marketing trends, as well as cultural events in an effort to bring proactive/fresh ideas, sharing with peers and the broader team.

Refine/Evolution

  • Write in multiple styles, formats, and tones for a wide range of social activations and campaigns, primarily across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels.
  • Integrate the brand’s tone of voice into social in a compelling, valuable, and authentic way and write social brand guidelines to ensure consistency.

Execution

  • Ensure consistency and efficacy of copy throughout all social platforms.
  • Self-manage multiple projects and tight timelines.

Experience

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience at an agency or in-house agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong understanding of copywriting principles of storytelling, communication, tone/voice
  • Strong digital and social copywriting portfolio required
