Senior Social Media Manager

SPARK is searching for a Senior Social Media Manager with strong Influencer experience. You sit squarely in the center where consumer conversations and client business priorities intersect. The Basics

Bachelor's Degree
4-7 years experience in social media role with strategy development and community management experience (required)
Experience with influencer marketing and management

Social Strategy Development

  • Lead development of social strategy & implementation recommendations for each client
  • Develop social guidelines for posting cadence, talent use, and resource deployment
  • Partner with Media team to develop paid strategies
  • Actively participate in the sell-through and implementation of paid social initiatives

Project Management

  • Create & manage project schedules, estimates, and prepare project briefings and meetings
  • Actively monitor the progress of a project, align deliverables against contracts and estimates
  • Influencer Management

Social Listening & Engagement

  • Maintain deep understanding of social channels and design principles for all social platforms
  • Monitor client brands across platforms and engage in brand-aligned conversations
  • Identify and connect with communities of interest, influencers and advocates across platforms
  • Attend events to build & strengthen relationships with advocates

Content Creation

  • Utilize exceptional writing skills and knowledge of AP style guidelines to develop posting guides/content calendars
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce creative, fun, and socially-driven content and graphics to engage communities
  • Partner with cross-departmental teams on social integration for campaigns

Research & Reporting

  • Review and approve client-facing performance reports with clearly articulated recommendations
  • Utilize insights to improve the integrated team’s overall approach on behalf of clients
  • Utilize insights to evolve content creation in a measurable manner
  • Provide meaningful insights & recommended strategies for new business activities
  • Participate in new business pitches and meetings as needed

Community Management

  • Proof all content and ensure brand team review/sign-off as needed
  • Manage client feedback and approval utilizing approved communication channels
  • Partner with SMM to ensure all posting occurs on schedule
  • Partner with SMM to ensure all community engagement occurs regularly

Client Communications

  • Act as Social Lead for all assigned clients and establish strong, collaborative partnerships with key client staff
  • Establish regular communications cadence with key clients
  • Demonstrate regular, proactive communications with clients regarding brand opportunities

Proactive Ideation

  • Constantly pursue client business & industry insights to inform thinking
  • Utilize community insights & industry trends to develop proactive client ideas
  • Work with clients and/or integrated teams to develop and manage plan for idea sell-through

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-7 years experience in social media role with strategy development (required)
  • Experience with Influencer Marketing and Management
  • Social listening and analytics tools experience required (Listen First, Sysymos, Brandwatch, etc.)
  • Google Analytics experience required, TapInfluence, Brandwatch experience preferred
  • Strategic thinker & proactive problem solver
