How does a big box hospitality brand differentiate in a market known for intimate, boutique accommodations? The Hilton in Sedona was struggling to demonstrate their value to adventure-seeking travelers wanting more than a standard hotel stay. We began by shifting the property’s story to connect with its unique natural surroundings. The new positioning, Endeavor Beyond, became the goal for every activation and a call to action for its guests and employees alike. To complete the transformation, we changed the name from Hilton Sedona Golf Resort & Spa to take advantage of its location near Sedona’s most popular natural asset, Bell Rock.
We collaborated with hotel operations teams to pinpoint opportunities for delivering experiences beyond the property and leverage Sedona’s amazing natural treasures.
Check-in transformed into the start of an amazing adventure. A large-scale topographic map became the central point for a more immersive arrival, while local trail cards and kits provided new tools to empower exploration.
We created a comprehensive training guide for staff, covering everything from the mission statement to the rationale behind the tea assortment to support it. Each section aligns the team, from housekeeping to front desk, around their collective purpose.
