With plans to add six million square feet of new residential, office, retail and hospitality space over the next decade, GASWORX is south Tampa’s newest development, set to transform historic Ybor City. A much-anticipated revitalization effort, the project needed a brand that accurately reflected the importance of the area, while capturing a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that could emotionally connect the community with its rich cultural heritage.
Tampa’s newest neighborhood deserved an identity based on the principles that built its oldest and most celebrated one.
GASWORX is a convergence. Of diverse people, passions and pursuits, where vocation and recreation coexist, and where daily life and dynamic lifestyles intertwine.
Inspired by Ybor’s brick paved streets, the design system is a direct reflection of the area’s diverse cultural traditions. While each individual piece is unique, all elements work together to build a stronger, holistic brand identity.
