In 2017, most people had never heard of PetSmart Charities. In fact, brand awareness was at a staggering 1%. That’s when SPARK came in. In collaboration with PetSmart Charities, we created a social media strategy that focused on driving engagement and brand loyalty through the use of heartwarming adoption stories across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. In just two years, our engagement numbers have increased by over 500%.
Our relationship began with a social audit and strategy that helped us define exactly who our audience was and helped us know what types of content to test. It didn’t take us long to learn our winning formula.
Since then, we’ve grown awareness through various campaigns. Our most successful was Sponsored By You, a campaign that showed our donors just exactly where their donations go and the impact they make. This became our most successful campaign, garnering more than 7.5M video views and helping increase brand interest by 7,386%.
