SPARK San Diego is now open in the California city’s East Village.
The opening of SPARK San Diego comes as part of an effort to better serve a west coast clientele that includes Petsmart Charities, Petsmart Inc. and Marriott.
SPARK founder Michael Peters—who made the move out west to support the expansion—noted the city’s knack for attracting talent and its need for creative brand and marketing agencies as reasons for choosing San Diego.
“San Diego is an underserved market when it comes to creative brand and marketing agencies and we see the potential to establish lasting partnerships here,” said Peters. “The weather and atmosphere are also key to luring top talent.”
And lure top talent SPARK San Diego has, such as recent additions Brand Director Brianna Babb and Associate Creative Director Jessica Wyatt, who bring combined experience on clients such as Diet Coke, CLIF Bar, Bank of America, T-Mobile and Jim Beam.

The modern East Village office reflects the architectural and design flair that saw SPARK Tampa named one of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s “Coolest Office Spaces.” A glass and concrete façade faces the street, revealing a collaboration-inspired interior designed to get creative juices flowing.
“Creativity is key and we feel that building an environment that fosters it is crucial to serving our clients well,” said Peters. “Not just the office, but San Diego, is a part of that. This is a beautiful city and the perfect place for SPARK to call home.”
